  • Press Release

IN ROCHESTER,NY

Hi,

On this Sunday, September 13, we will continue to run CollectorFest Monthly at our new home at The Webster Columbus Center (a.k.a. The Knights of Columbus) at # 70 Barrett Drive in Webster, NY 14580. We will have our biggest September show since we started back in 2001.

Dominic DeNucci and Mick Foley will make rare appearances meeting the public and signing autographs at the only monthly sports cards and collectibles show in Western New York with free admission and a free gift at noon. Throughout 2009, several wrestlers and members of the Buffalo Bills have been (and will continue) signing for the public. The signing sessions are only from 1:00-2:30 pm while the show/sale runs from 10:00 – 3:00. In addition to this DeNucci/Foley $20 signing on September 13 ($20 gets you both autographs - not just one), two AFL Buffalo Bills All-Stars scheduled for November 8th are Ed Rutkowski and Harry Jacobs (these autographs are only $5 each). Two more Bills will be signing on Super Bowl Sunday on February 7, 2010 as well. We are also working on a definite date for The Beatles first drummer Pete Best to sign in early 2010. There are many others dates when there are no guests signing on the website www.collectorfestmonthly.com when you can get two gifts at noon instead of just one.

Domenic DeNucci was born in Venice, Italy. He made his wrestling debut in the USA back in 1963. He held countless world championship titles in the WWWF, NWA, AWA and many other organizations since nobody could recover from his finishing move, "The Airplane Spin." He was featured heavily on television in upstate New York until 1986 when he retired. He trained WWF's Shane Douglas and Mick Foley. He is excited to drive up from Freedom, PA to meet some of his Rochester fans.

Mick Foley is also known as Cactus Jack, Mankind and Dude Love which are his multiple personalities that have entered the ring at different times during his career. He has held bundles of championship belts but his most his notable title is "The Hardcore Legend" because of his past with ECW and the WWE's Hell in a Cell match back in 2004 when he faced the Undertaker. During his career, he has had over 300 stitches, eight concussions and has lost a ton of teeth. When Foley is not finishing matches choking opponents with his sock puppet (Mr. Socko), he is writing best selling books from autobiographical to children's. He is also the subject of the documentary movie Beyond the Mat. He is currently TNA's storyline "Executive Shareholder." Mick Foley is thrilled to grace the presence of his mentor/teacher Domenic DeNucci at this signing.
