ROH (Ring Of Honor - www.rohwrestling.com )
February 28th: ROH World Champion Bryan Danielson has signed to defend the belt against nemesis Roderick Strong on 3/31 in Chicago!!! You know the intense history between these two. Strong made Danielson tap out in a tag team match on 1/27 so now he will get one more shot at the belt. Of course, Danielson has to first make it past Alex Shelley on 3/11. You have to respect Danielson for taking on big matches against Strong and Lance Storm on consecutive nights when ROH returns to Chicago on Wrestlemania weekend. Get your tickets now at ROHwrestling.com, by calling 215-781-2500 and at Ticketmaster outlets. Last time in Chicago, Strong and Danielson delivered an epic match of the year candidate. Now 3/31 will see the rematch!!!
February 28th: The Colt Cabana vs. Homicide feud reached new levels of brutality and violence last Saturday in New Jersey. Now it will end on Wrestlemania weekend. Cabana vs. Homicide will take place on all three nights with each match having a different stipulation. ROH's first event in Detroit, "Showdown In Motown" on 11/4/05, saw Homicide and Cabana brawl all over the building. On 3/30 they will fight in a Falls Count Anywhere Match!!! Homicide has challenged Cabana to a Fight Without Honor and Cabana has accepted. Homicide vs. Chicago's own Colt Cabana will take place in a Fight Without Honor on 3/31 in Chicago!!! The stipulation for Cabana vs. Homicide on 4/1 in Chicago will be determined that weekend. We are worried if both men will even be able to walk on 4/1 so the stipulation will not be determined until we see what happens on 3/30 and 3/31. ROH's most intense feud will come to an end on Wrestlemania weekend!!!
February 28th: ROHvideos.com now has ROH Roster Part 6 video up featuring Claudio Castagnoli, Jimmy Yang, Jay & Mark Briscoe and Adam Pearce. It includes clips of matches that aren't even released yet!!!
February 28th: Don't forget the buy 3, get 1 free sale on ROH DVDs and VHS now at ROHwrestling.com. This includes new releases like the VHS of 1/27 "Tag Wars 2006" from Dayton featuring a night of great tag wrestling. See ROH Tag Team Champions Austin Aries & Roderick Strong defend the belts for the first time in a classic vs. Bryan Danielson & Jay Lethal. You'll also witness the complete, action packed Trios Tournament 2006 with four teams. First round matches saw Matt Sydal, Jack Evans & Jimmy Yang vs. BJ Whitmer, Jimmy Jacobs & Adam Pearce and Jimmy Rave, Alex Shelley & Abyss vs. Sal Rinauro, Tony Mamaluke & Jay Fury!!! Plus: Jim Cornette gets his front tooth knocked out when Chris Hero and Necro Butcher try to crash the show, Christopher Daniels vs. Low Ki in an excellent match, Nigel McGuinness vs. Delirious, Ace Steel vs. Sterling Keenan, Claudio Castagnoli vs. Chad Collyer and more!!! Order now on VHS for immediate delivery at ROHwrestling.com.
February 28th: ROH Commissioner Jim Cornette has been fuming ever since hearing about the CZW invasion last Saturday. Cornette cut a promo today about the situation that he is sending into ROHvideos.com. We hope to have it up by the end of the week.
February 28th: The feud between Christopher Daniels and BJ Whitmer seems far from over since nothing was settled last Saturday.
February 28th: We will have lots of news about 3/11 in Philly tomorrow right here in the ROHwrestling.com Newswire.

PWG (Pro Wrestling Guerrilla - http://www.prowrestlingguerrilla.com )
PWG Presents "The Hollywood Globetrotters" on Saturday, March 4!
By Silverback, PWG Staff Writer
Mammoth Lakes, CA - When the staff of Pro Wrestling Guerrilla ( http://www.prowrestlingguerrilla.com) returned to the office on Tuesday after our European Vacation, it was determined that the first order of business would be a nap. After the nap and some shuffling around, the mini fridge was opened, and quickly shut, because all that was in there was 2 week old Chinese food and a jar of relish. With nothing to eat, it was decided that we should call it a day, and get back to work first thing on Wednesday. On Wednesday morning, someone got around to checking the messages, and for some reason, Scott Lost had been calling the office all day Monday (and probably Tuesday, but the phone was unplugged to maximize nap time.) Sometime Wednesday afternoon, someone actually listened to the messages, and it turns out that Scott's bags, which contained his passport, clothes, and money, were either lost (funny) or stolen (not as funny, but still funny.) As it happens, Scott's tag team with WWE Superstar Paul London was "Lost In London," making the whole situation funny on so many different levels. Rest assured PWG is expending as little energy as possible to help Scott through this difficult time, so if you do see him aimlessly wandering the streets, please be sure to throw a few quid his way.
Despite the jet lag, lost Scott Lost, and moldy fried rice, PWG Commissioner Dino Winwood has been hard at work since returning from Europe, crafting the finest wrestling event possible for you, the original PWG fans, hailing from the greater Los Angeles area. While the fact remains that fans from all over the world will end up seeing this event, Dino wants to give back to the fans of Southern California first. That is why PWG's next event in SoCal, "The Hollywood Globetrotters," taking place Saturday, March 4, 2006 at the Hollywood-Los Feliz JCC, will feature:
PWG Championship Match
Joey Ryan (c) vs. "Mr. Wrestling" Kevin Steen - PWG Champion Joey Ryan has had a record number of challengers for his title, yet by hook or by crook, he will walk into "The Hollywood Globetrotters" with the belt around his waist. First, he defeated "Photogenic" Chris Bosh, and former PWG Champions AJ Styles and Kevin Steen at February 4th's "Permanent Vacation/CSTC2." Then he went on to defeat "Tremendous" Emil Sitoci in Essen, Germany, and "Wonderkid" Jonny Storm in Kent, England, which would be an astounding accomplishment if he had actually come away with a clean victory each time. However, of all the men Joey defeated in February, there is only one man he didn't pin, and that man is Kevin Steen. Steen was disqualified in the 4-Way Elimination match, and even though the referee's decision is final, Commissioner Winwood can take specific actions to rectify past indiscretions, which he will do so on March 4th, when Kevin Steen gets his second chance at Joey Ryan and the PWG Championship.
PWG Tag Team Championship Match
Super Dragon & Davey Richards (c) vs. Jack Evans & Roderick Strong - Fans of Pro Wrestling Guerrilla have seen the team of Dragon & Richards go from a chaotic mess to a well oiled machine, liberally dispensing pain and defending their titles all over the world. However, Dragon & Richards did not face what potentially could have been their toughest challenge to date, Christopher Daniels & AJ Styles in "The Dream Match That Was Never Meant To Be." With Daniels recently suffering a knee injury, this match had to be put on the back burner, but that did allow for new discussion of who else should challenge the unstoppable duo. After talking with fans and reviewing hours upon hours of footage, one team clearly presented themselves to Commissioner Winwood, not only as fan favorites, but as worthy challengers to the PWG Tag Team titles, and that is the team of the high-flying Jack Evans and hard-hitting Roderick Strong.
PWG Tag Team Championship Number One Contenders Match
Arrogance (Chris Bosh & Scott Lost) vs. Cape Fear (El Generico & Quicksilver) - European fans who wanted to see an authentic PWG Tag Team Championship match between two authentic PWG teams got their wish, as both Cape Fear and Arrogance challenged Dragon & Richards for the titles. Since neither Arrogance or Cape Fear are in the championship match, one can only assume that their challenges for the belts were unsuccessful. However, both teams did win over the hearts of Commissioner Winwood, who offered them a one more chance at the tag titles, if they get past each other, first. Though Arrogance has been inactive in the PWG tag team scene recently, their match with Dragon & Richards, and more specifically, Chris Bosh's concussion at the hands of the champs, has rekindled their love of tag team wrestling, and has given them a drive for revenge. While neither member of Cape Fear was concussed in Europe, they were beaten pretty badly, but they're just too nice to say that they're out for revenge, so we'll say it for them. But what happens if Jack Evans & Roderick Strong come away with the PWG Championship?
Pro Wrestling Guerrilla's "The Hollywood Globetrotters" takes place at the Hollywood-Los Feliz JCC on Saturday, March 4, 2006 at 7:00PM. Stacy Keibler Gracious in Defeat on 'Dancing With the Stars'
By Jim Roberts
Feb 27, 2006
Drew Lachey closed strong in the ABC Reality show 'Dancing with the Stars' and deserved his disco ball trophy. Despite the cries of 'the fix is in' he earned it. But again, the Reality TV show ended in controversy as new star Stacy Keibler was eliminated early and her fans were more than upset.
ABC's message boards and other Reality TV web sites blew up and TV watchers again screamed fraud at 'Dancing with the Stars.' But not Stacy - she was gracious in defeat.
Extra TV gives this report:
Although viewers and judges unanimously agreed Drew was king of the dance floor, in a shocking twist that's the talk of Tinseltown, viewers voted Stacy Keibler off the show after she earned a perfect score from the judges, leaving everyone dumbfounded over the decision.
"She was an amazing dancer," Judge Bruno Tonioli said. "But nevertheless, I don't think Stacy has lost anything, because you cannot knock that quality."
***
Stacy remained upbeat as she graciously congratulated Drew and Cheryl just moments after her third-place shocker. "I think they deserved it," she said. "I think they did great. I will be friends with Drew and Cheryl forever."
After being eliminated, Stacy even soothed the nervous of Jerry Rice before his final dance. "When Stacy got kicked off the first hour, she had to calm me down," Rice admitted.
***
The leggy blonde even shed a tear or two and indeed she is now a known entity. Expect more doors to be opened for the talented blonde. It should be exciting for her fans to see what happens next.
