On 6/5, at an NYWC event in Queens, NY, one half of the WSU Tag Team Champions, Jana, defeated former World Champion Angel Orsini. This latest loss for Orsini has created many more questions concerning where her head is at as we head to the WSU Uncensored Rumble on 6/26.

However, Orsini wasn't defeated cleanly. As established on 4/17 at an NYWC show in Port Jefferson Station, NY, several wrestlers have forged an alliance and are now calling themselves the "Cosmo Club". Led by WSU Spirit Champion Brittney Savage, the WSU Tag Champions Cindy Rogers & Jana have aligned themselves with one of WSU's most hated people, Rick Cataldo.

Rogers & Jana defeated Mercedes Martinez & Angel Orsini for the WSU Tag Team Championships on 4/17 due to an assist from Cataldo & Savage. On 6/5, Orsini was trying to earn a rematch at any time of her choosing. If Orsini was to defeat Jana, Orsini & Martinez would've earned a WSU Tag Team Championship rematch whenever they wanted.

However, the odds were against Orsini, and while the ref was tending to Rick Cataldo, the WSU Spirit Champion, Brittney Savage, interfered, hitting her diamond cutter on Orsini. This was the same move that Savage used to cost Orsini & Martinez the tag championships. Jana was able to pick up the cheap victory, and the Cosmo Club have remained undefeated when on shows together.

Orsini, visibly upset after her match told WSUWrestling.com that she had no comment about the night's events. WSUWrestling.com is left to wonder about the mental state of Orsini as Orsini has not been the same person. Today, June 6th, 2010 marks one year to the day that Orsini was no longer able to challenge for the WSU World Championship, as a result of losing the Iron Woman match, which has been declared by many as the greatest match in womens wrestling history. It has been one year and it seems that the pressure of no longer being considered the best in the world is getting to Orsini.

Orsini accomplished her best work in WSU when she was not worrying about what the fans thought or trying to please everyone. Orsini did the right thing with Martinez. Orsini did what was right for WSU. Orsini did what was right for the fans. However, being moral and being nice hasn't done Orsini any favors personally. While Orsini wouldn't comment to WSUWrestling.com, you have to wonder how much longer Orsini can keep the facade before she finally cracks.
