….

I was shocked when I first saw the article, I thought how arrogant can this company be.  Here Michael Benoit has been all over the media saying that chair shots and concussions might have caused the brain damage to his son.

I did my observations article, siting the match with Mankind vs. The Rock, where 11 chair shots were used on Mick while his hands were cuffed behind his back, and then this article appeared on main page of WWE.

Here is the link, but I am sure it will be removed completely once someone realizes it hasn't been removed totally.

Very bad move from the Company, IMO.

The Rock defeats Mankind in “I Quit” Match for the WWE Championship
Royal Rumble – Jan. 24, 1999

Mick Foley’s classic chair moments were capped off by the WWE Championship “I Quit” Match between Mankind and The Rock at the 1999 Royal Rumble.

With his wife and children at ringside, Foley received numerous chair blows from The People’s Champion, including many while handcuffed. His family left midway through the match, unable to watch any longer.

Mankind eventually lost consciousness from the blows, and allies of The Rock played a recording of Mankind saying “I Quit” to give Rock the title. Watch the video...

Mankind would win the WWE Championship back from The Rock at Halftime Heat a week later, winning an Empty Arena Match.

My question is even STRONGER NOW, where was Mick Foley's protection from the company??
