IWF "Rampage" Event August 18th at Tab Ramos Center, Aberdeen, NJ
:
WWE SmackDown's Nunzio & Tammy "Sunny" Sytch to Appear

(Aberdeen, NJ)- In just a few days, all the thrills and excitement of Independent Wrestling Federation live action happen on Thursday, August 18, 2005, 8 pm, at the Tab Ramos Sports Center, 17 Blair Road, Aberdeen, NJ.  The annual summer spectacular called Rampage features seven action-packed bouts.

Highlighting the card are appearances by WWE SmackDown Cruiserweight Champion Nunzio, and former WWE diva Tammy "Sunny" Sytch.  Nunzio (aka: Little Guido) recently captured the WWE Cruiserweight Title from Paul London, and is a former ECW Tag Team Champion with the FBI.  Tammy has served as a valet in WWE, ECW and WCW, managing Chris Candido and Dr. Tom Prichard, and The Smoking Gunns to Tag Team Titles.  Nunzio and Tammy will host a Polaroid and Autograph Fan Session in Aberdeen.

In the main event, four-time IWF Heavyweight Champion Roman battles former champion BoneCrusher Fred Sampson in a best two-out-of-three falls match.  It was Roman who regained the title from Sampson in a bloody chain match in April at Reckless Abandon.  Now the BoneCrusher has been granted a rematch as he looks to claim the goal for a third time.  A guest referee will be appointed prior to the bout by Commissioner Rich Ross.  Both men are recent WWE television performers on Raw, SmackDown, Heat and Velocity.

Outlaw Shane O'Brien puts his IWF American Title on the line when he defends against ring veteran Kevin Knight in a no disqualification match.  It was O'Brien who was instrumental in costing Knight and Dan McGuire the Tag Team Titles in June at Summer Sizzler.  Knight, a recent WWE performer, is out for revenge against the Texas roughneck in this anything goes confrontation.

Cocky super-brat Travis Blake takes on the popular Damian Adams in a Submission Match where the only method of victory occurs when you make your opponent tap out.  Adams, who recently competed on WWE SmackDown in tag action with fellow Camp IWF graduate Josh Daniels, looks for retribution against Blake as its the Damian Deathlock against the Cloverleaf in a battle to see who will submit.

In a grudge match, Shawn Donavan tangles with rival Dangerous Dan McGuire, whom have unfinished business stemming from their tag team feud last fall.  Donavan is a former American and Tag Champion while McGuire has held Junior and Tag gold.

IWF Tag Team Title action features fun-loving Biggie Biggs and Aaron Stride, managed by Jana, challenging the street-wise championship duo of Tony Torres and Antonio Rivera, with valet Shayla.  Torres and Rivera, known as Latin Revolution, captured the gold in June at Summer Sizzler.  Biggs and Stride are the 2005 Commissioner's Cup Tag Team Tournament Champions and now look to add the tag belts to their resume for the first time as a unit.

In what's sure to be a high-flying affair, two-time IWF Junior Champion Sean Royal squares off against Tommy Penmanship, Chase Del Monte, Rob Morrison, and Nick Sabre in a Gauntlet Elimination Match.  Penmanship and Del Monte represent Massachusetts-based Chaotic Wrestling.  Penmanship served as Muhammad Hassan's lawyer on a recent edition of WWE SmackDown with The Undertaker.

Also appearing at IWF Rampage on August 18th are Commissioner Ross, Matt Bennett, BPA Barry, and Camp IWF Wrestling School standouts.  Tickets are $18 front row and $14 general admission, and will be on sale at the door prior to the event.  Advance tickets are available at the Tab Ramos Center, charge by phone at 973-345-7745, or order on-line at
www.WrestlingIWF.com.

Following Rampage, live action returns to IWF Centre in West Paterson, NJ, with Desperate Measures Weekend on Saturday, August 27, 7:30 pm and Sunday, August 28, 3:30 pm.  Then the IWF Rampage Revenge Tour takes place Sunday, September 18, 2 pm, at Flying W Airport Resort in Medford, NJ.
