WWE RAISES MORE THAN $300,000 FOR BOYS & GIRLS CLUBS OF AMERICA

STAMFORD, Conn., April 26, 2016 – WWE (NYSE: WWE) today announced it has raised more than $300,000 to support Boys & Girls Clubs of America through this year’s Superstars for Hope global online auction.

As part of WWE’s community outreach initiatives around WrestleMania, the online auction on Charitybuzz.com featured unique, once-in-a-lifetime experiences with John Cena®, Paul “Triple H®” Levesque, Stephanie McMahon and packages with the Dallas Cowboys, Dallas Mavericks, New York Yankees and many more.

“WWE is committed to improving the lives of children around the world and I’m proud that the WWE Universe once again supported our Superstars for Hope campaign,” said Stephanie McMahon, WWE Chief Brand Officer. “The funds raised for Boys & Girls Clubs of America will help create a brighter future for youth at Clubs across the country.”

“BGCA is grateful to WWE and their fans for including us in the Superstars for Hope auction,” said Frank Sanchez, Vice President, Boys & Girls Clubs of America. “The funds raised will support Boys & Girls Clubs in the Dallas area and provide resources to Clubs across the nation to give kids the skills and tools they need to prevent bullying in their communities.”
