WWE announced the following:

WWE and the ESPYS are about to make history, and you can be a part of it!

For the first-time ever at this year’s ESPYS, Best WWE Moment will be awarded under the Best Performance category and fans can take part in voting. And the nominees are:

  • Roman Reigns‘ triumphant return to Monday Night RAW
  • Becky Lynch wins both RAW and SmackDown Women’s Championships at WrestleMania 35
  • Kofi Kingston wins first WWE Championship at WrestleMania 35
  • Ronda Rousey captures her first WWE Women’s Championship at SummerSlam

The ESPYS gather top celebrities from sports and entertainment to commemorate the past year in sports by recognizing major sports achievements, reliving unforgettable moments and saluting the leading performers and performances. The show recognizes achievements in categories such as “Best MLB Player,” “Best Team,” “Best Female Athlete” and “Best Upset” and inspiring human stories are showcased through three pillar awards: the Arthur Ashe Award for Courage, the Jimmy V Award for Perseverance and the Pat Tillman Award for Service.

The ESPYS support ESPN’s ongoing commitment to the V Foundation for Cancer Research, launched by ESPN with the late Jim Valvano in 1993. ESPN has helped raise close to $97 million for the V Foundation over the past 26 years.  In 2016, WWE partnered with The V Foundation to expand Connor’s Cure, a fund dedicated to pediatric cancer research. This multi-year partnership supports cancer research nationally through funds raised by Connor’s Cure, which was established by WWE Chief Brand Officer Stephanie McMahon and WWE Executive Vice President Talent, Live Events & Creative Paul “Triple H” Levesque at the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh.

So, who will win the iconic first-ever Best WWE Moment Award? Vote now to let your voice be heard and find out who wins when the 2019 ESPYS air on ABC on July 10!
