WWE's Stevie Richards & Hall of Famer Tito Santana Return to IWF March 24-25
:
10th Annual Reckless Abandon Anniversary Weekend in West Paterson, NJ

(WEST PATERSON, NJ)- The Independent Wrestling Federation's historic 10th Annual Reckless Abandon Anniversary Weekend takes place Saturday, March 24, 7:30 pm featuring WWE-ECW Superstar Stevie Richards, and Sunday, March 25, 4 pm featuring WWE Hall of Famer Tito Santana.  The extravaganzas take place at IWF Centre, West Paterson, NJ.  Here is a full preview...

The card for day one March 24 features an unprecedented triple main event.  In a Six-Man Tag Team Match to be officiated by WWE-ECW Superstar Stevie Richards, former IWF Heavyweight Champions unite as Kevin Knight and BoneCrusher Fred Sampson will be joined by a Mystery Partner to battle IWF American Champion Travis Blake and IWF Tag Team Champions Outlaw Shane O'Brien and Aaron Stride of The Ross Family.  The championship committee has appointed Richards, a former WWE Hardcore and ECW Tag Team Champion, as the special enforcer to maintain order.  Richards last appeared at a New Jersey-area event at IWF Monmouth Meltdown in 2004.  Further, as seen on the Eruption Webcast, Commissioner-for-a-Month Eloy Fiesta has banned Rich Ross from the building.

The IWF Heavyweight Title is on the line as champion Tony Torres with Eloy Fiesta representing Latin Revolution defends against Ohio Valley Wrestling prospect Damian Adams.  Adams, a former IWF Heavyweight, American and Tag Team Champion, returns to the federation in the hopes of regaining the top prize.  Adams, a 2001 IWF Wrestling School graduate, joined OVW in late 2005, and returns to battle Torres in their first-ever singles meeting.  Torres won the gold from Shawn Donavan at Thanksgiving Thunder in November 2006 and looks to extend his four month reign.

The third main event is a Triple Threat Match for the IWF Junior Heavyweight Title, and Tables, Ladders and Chairs are legal.  Champion Antonio Rivera of Latin Revolution defends against former three-time champion Dangerous Dan McGuire, and former two-time champion Tommy Trouble.  Rivera won the belt from Nick Sabre at Tournament of Champions in December 2006 and must fend off two challengers in this anything goes contest in order to extend his three month reign.

Steve Camacho with Jana tangles with the 340-pound mastodon Franciz of The Ross Family.  Franciz attacked Camacho at the conclusion of the Knight-Outlaw Lumberjack Match at February Fury and Steve is out for revenge against the mighty mastodon.

Meanwhile, Burnin' Mike Durnin squares off against the disgruntled Justin Corino.  After Durnin scored an upset win over Justin on the Eruption Webcast, Corino snapped and brutally attacked his friend Mike.  Durnin now wants some answers for Corino and will seek the truth in the ring.

In other singles action March 24, the fiery Shawn Moore meets the rugged Frank Scoleri.  Scoleri looks to derail the comeback of the newcomer at the biggest event of the year.

There will be a special Autograph and Photo Session with Stevie Richards, open to all fans with a small fee required.  VIP ticket holder benefits include front row seat, wrestler meet-n-greet, special raffle and door prizes.  Referees are Barry Delaney and Jason Roberts, and Ring Announcer is Tomm Bauer.

The card for Reckless Abandon day two Sunday, March 25 also features a gigantic triple main event.  In a Six-Man Tag Team Match, WWE Hall of Famer Tito Santana joins forces with Tony Torres and Antonio Rivera with Eloy Fiesta, as they collide with Travis Blake and Franciz of The Ross Family, and hired gun Justin Corino.  Santana, a former WWE Intercontinental and Tag Team Champion, is a native of Tocula, Mexico, and is a natural fit to aid Latin Revolution in this epic war.  Santana last appeared in an IWF ring at February Fury in 2006.

In a Special Challenge Match, BoneCrusher Fred Sampson meets Damian Adams in their first-ever IWF singles meeting.  Should Adams win the Heavyweight Title the previous evening, this bout will be for the championship.

The third Main Event is a Bullrope/Strap Match for the IWF Tag Team Titles as former title-holders Burnin' Mike Durnin and Steve Camacho challenge champions Outlaw Shane O'Brien and Aaron Stride of The Ross Family.  In this contest, Camacho and SOB will be tied together at the wrist by a bullrope while Durnin and Stride will be linked with a leather strap.  Outlaw and Stride won the titles from Durnin and Camacho two months ago at Winter Warfare.

Kevin Knight opposes his former IWF Tag Team Champion partner Dangerous Dan McGuire.  Two years ago at Reckless Abandon, they were the most unlikely tag champions in IWF history.  Last year at Reckless Abandon they feuded over the Heavyweight Title.  This year they look to settle the question that lingers in both men's minds as to who is the better wrestler in what should be a scientific wrestling contest.

In additional singles action March 25, popular diva Jana wrestles the pesky Tommy Trouble; while big Dan Marques hits the mat in a rematch against Frank Scoleri.

There will be a special Autograph and Photo Session with Tito Santana, open to all fans with a small fee required.  VIP ticket holder benefits include front row seat, wrestler meet-n-greet, special raffle and door prizes.  Referees are Barry Delaney and Matt Bennett, and Ring Announcer is Tomm Bauer.

The first Reckless Abandon took place March 14, 1998 in Nutley, NJ before a sold-out crowd.  Almost 10 years and exactly 238 events later, the IWF presents the 10th edition of their annual springtime spectacular.  Superstars such as Honky Tonk Man, Nicole Bass, The Patriot, Sal Sincere, Steve Corino and Nova (Simon Dean) appeared at previous Reckless Abandon's.  For more information or to order advance tickets, visit www.WrestlingIWF.com.
