Hey Georgie! This past weekend, was truly, as Woodmo said, a fruitful experience for us all. Signamania 3, blew my previous show experiences out of the water. Perhaps the best show I have ever attended. Everyone seems to agree on the Superticket fiasco, but I think for the most part it was a success. I've heard anywhere between 800-900 attendees were in attendance, and for the third show, the crew should commended.
First the bad:
7 FT. Pain in the Neck. aka the "7 FT AHINIALATOR". He called me and my buddies pot heads for watching South Park, called Stevie Richards a few bad names for ignoring him during the show threataning to "Beat Stevie down" after Mr. Richards had left. Not his exact words, but I think you know what I mean. He also had said that he would start a fight and win against myself and my best friend Andrew aka The BigKing. He also called us marks for believing things we hear from other people. Meanwhile he proceeded to tell us how he owned land in Florida, Colorado, New York and makes 700,000 a year. Yeah. Let that sink in for a minute. The guy is rude, doesn't respect the buisness. He said "it's all acting unless you get hit by a chair and a barbed wire match like at MY show tonight". Anyway. I will say I never want to see him at a show again. I don't think anyone will say anything nice about that guy, even if they tried. If he comes next year, I won't. But, that's the only way I'll miss SA 4.

Line Problem: My only "Signamania specific" problem, but even then, I thought they did the best they could. I always try and give the benefit of the doubt. So many wrestlers were having to leave. I know the Godfather was being rushed and couldn't find the bags, so was Slaughter, but that situation I think has been touched upon. Compared to some shows I've been to over the years, this is nothing. I've been to some shows where there are no security to let lines through. I was kinda pissed that some people weren't able to get autographs. And I was carrying a suitcase filled with stuff and it was really hard to move around the misorganization. But, again I assume it was the new venue or something like that.
Phineas Godwin: When Ken added the Godwinns, I was pretty excited and was going to pay at the show, Then I heard that they would both be in gimmick, I was even more happy. I was a big Godwins fan back in the day, I was so excited when they won they titles. So, it kinda pained me at the time later on when I had to cut certain wrestlers off my list because of my budget, and I'm glad I cut the Godwins. When I saw them at the show and saw Phineas visibly hungover wearing sunglasses and his Undertaker shirt, I thought it was unprofessional and definatly un-needed. Someone should have known their limit and the fact that he was going to have to take pictures and sign all day. Sorry, thats the truth. You don't show up to work hungover I don't care what it is and if it's perceived to be "cool to be drunk", and especially when your being advertised as "In Gimmick", you had better show up in gimmick. Get it together, pal. I'm sure Phineas knows that by now. And if he doesn't, I'm sure he does now, because he pretty much ruined the experience for a few people.
I don't blame Ken, because Ken is a great agent/promoter/fan/guy/friend whatever you want to call him, I blame Phineas. Sorry, Phineas. Lost yourself a fan and suppoter.

The good
Demolition: GREAT. GREAT. GREAT!!! I finally got to meet them! It was great they signed my CS Figures, and Barry even put "aka Repo Man". Of course I had ask that weird request. lol. I took a picture and it turned out great.
Beautiful People: My best friend Andrew aka The BigKing, met them and both were so pleasant. They held up a great end of a conversation with you and gave you such a warm feeling to be there. Highly suggested!
Dawn Marie:
What else needs to be said? Well, other than she's pleasant. Loves her fans. Appreciates everyone stopping by. Giving hugs left and right. Great guest and still stunning! She gave me a big hug and a kiss in our photo op leaving me pretty speechless. She's a great guest and I highly suggest all fans to meet her. The BigKing met her as well and would most likely say no different, he had a great time and fell in love with her as well. There's no resisting her! I also wish to add that I think her charity Wrestler's Rescue is fantastic and anyone who is interested, please visit wrestlersrescue.org, for a great and worthy cause.
Molly:Molly was pretty nice to her fans, but I didn't have much time to talk. The line seemed messy and kinda crowded. But, I still enjoyed talking to her. It was great to finally meet her and I'm happy that I got to meet one of the all time best female wrestlers.
Stevie Richards and Larry Zyzbsko: Ok. I pulled two con no-nos. I got a free pic with both. Stevie even told me he'd get in trouble, and i said I understood, shook his hand and said see ya. He then turned around and said "Eh, why not". I hope I didn't get you in trouble Stevie...:(
Larry, was just hanging at the end of the day walking around talking to the wrestlers that were stillt here, so I didn't think it would be a big deal. I brought up his NWO wars and he had a good laugh. Slap me on the wrist later, guys.
Terri: Terri's line seemed really rushed, and kinda crunched together, but she still took pics and signed with everyone. I've had a crush on her since Middle School when she debuted as Marlena, so I had a variety of photos for her to sign. One picture, which was from a Divas magazine, she said was the first time she had EVER signed it. When it came to picture time she hopped up on the table to take a pic. She really gave the show her all! It came out blurry though :( lol.I'm still happy I got a picture with her, blurry or not.

Harley Race: Not much time to spend with Mr. Race. The lines were pretty cramped. And me and The BigKing saw him in the hallway of the hotel where we greeted him with a handshake and a "good evening, Mr. Race" the night before. but I just said I am a huge fan thank you so much and he said thank you right back. I got a pic with him, and he was just great.
Roddy: The BigKing's first time meeting the Hot Rod was a success. Needlessay The Big King was extremely honored to meet The Hot Rod. Roddy asked him what he did and they talked about him graduating in 2007 where Roddy gave a hug and a "I'm very proud of you". Piper is always the star of the show. Unfortunalty, The BigKing couldn't get a photo op.
The Godfather: Once again, the Godfather was running pretty late but The BigKing and I were able to get a quick photo op of him holding my IC title. He was really flattered that I asked him to hold it. Great guy.
DDP: May have stolen the show, even from RODDY!!! He was the last wrestler to be there. Signing for every fan and wouldn't leave until every fan got a photo and autograph. What a great guy. He seemed really thrilled to be there and enjoyed himself. The BigKing and I told him how we always liked him and asked him for a quick photo of him holding The BigKing's US title, while all three of us did the "Positivley Page" faces and Diamond Cutter.
Interesting note-One of the big sellers of the show for us was indeed Page, but the BigKing couldn't get an autograph ticket in time, which kinda upset him. So after we get our photo, Page also looked at The BigKing's US Title and said "Do you want me to sign it?" He responded by telling Mr. Page he didn't order a autograph ticket. DDP then pulled out a pen and said "Who the ::blank:: cares?" and proceeded to sign it, leaving a great impression on both us. DDP is truley a "Diamond" worthy guest!

The Fans-It was such an honor to meet so many great fans that I've only spoken to through the internet, and finally be able to talk and share stories in real life. It was great to meet everyone face to face. A special shout out to Dan from Dan's Wrestling Site, Carlucci, WOODMO, Nitro Jack, MGCrans, The Pittsburgh Posse, SkyLinx, John Sig for making the show so much fun! I'm leaving some out by accident, an in the words of Jimmy Hart-"I know I'm leaving some of you guys out, so please don't kill when ya see me"
Dick Kroll-Friday evening, the BigKing and I sat in the hotel watching all the wrestlers come in. But, it was Mr. Kroll who was the most pleasant to be around. He was sharing such great stories about so many great wrestlers for hours with anyone who wished to hear them(even one of my all time fave managers, The Grand Wizard!). If you get the chance to meet him, he's a great guy, so please take the time out to have a conversation and hear a story or two!
Bill Apter-We all know how crazy and great he is to be around. He joked with me the entire show. Everytime I ran into him I said "Bill's causing trouble again" and we cut promos on each other in the middle of the show, having a few people look at us and we proceeded to laugh it off. lol. Bill's a great guy
Marc from George's-Go Bears. He knows what I mean. :)

And the crew and staff of George's-You guys ran the best show I had ever attended. I feel the entire show went great, and despite the line problems, I had a terrific time. I can't enough about the hard work and effort put out by George and the crew. Perhaps one of the best crews ever.
I definately suggest Signamania to every person reading this. If you want a fan and family friendly convention, I highly suggest coming here. Do yourself a favor and buy a Superticket to the next show. If you can't, come anyway. You'll truly be a Signamaniac for Life!
