AND WHY HOGAN WAS NAKED

ZACH GOWEN REVEALS THE FIRST TIME HE REALLY MET HULK HOGAN…AND WHY HULK WAS NAKED AT THE TIME
By WorldWrestlingInsanity.com

The 103rd edition of JG’s Radio Free Insanity is on the air and available right now at WorldWrestlingInsanity.com (Flash and MP3 download) This week's show features the former TNA and WWE Superstar, "Tenacious Z" Zach Gowen.

James Guttman starts the show off by talking about Zach. Gowen.  Zach is one of the most amazing stars to see perform because of what he does in the ring.  During Gowen's uncut interview, James told him that when you first hear about a one-legged wrestler, your first instinct is, "If this guy can do anything in the ring, I'll be impressed."  But Zach does things that people with three legs couldn't do.  He's really an amazing star to see wrestle and if you've watched him once, you'll never forget it.  On top of that, before age 20, Gowen accomplished more than men three times his age.  He was in a main event Smackdown feud with people like Hulk Hogan, Stephanie McMahon, and Roddy Piper.  He had a chance to face Big Show, Brock Lesnar, and A-Train.  In many ways, he got to live a dream that many others in his position would have thought impossible.

Zach Gowen's  full uncut ClubWWI.com interview went on for 31 minutes and included talk of much more than what you'll hear today.   Topics include the fabricated story of meeting Hulk Hogan through the Make-a-Wish foundation, where it came from, Locker Room Etiquette, having heat backstage, the wrestler that tried to guide him through it, being pushed down the stairs by Brock Lesnar, the part of his Brock beating he didn’t warn his mom about, why he didn't warn her, where the name Tenacious Z came from, Stephanie McMahon, working with Roddy Piper, Judy Bagwell, returning to TNA or WWE, and much more!

Remember, Zach  is one of well over 100 stars you can hear uncut on ClubWWI.com. Some of these names include: Jerry Lawler, Vince Russo, Eric Bischoff, Bobby Heenan, Kevin Nash, The Iron Sheik, Sid Vicious, Paul Bearer, Tito Santana, Tod Gordon, Charlie Haas, Tom Prichard, Jacques Rougeau, Tammy Sytch, Too Cold Scorpio, Ole Anderson, John Heidenreich, Jimmy Hart, Jimmy Valiant, Bad News Brown, Nick Bockwinkel, Dory Funk Jr, Diamond Dallas Page, Rob Conway, Sylvain Grenier, Buff Bagwell, Christian Cage, Jazz, Demolition Ax and Smash, Koko B. Ware, Ricky Morton, Dustin Rhodes, Damian Demento, Fred "Shockmaster" Ottman, Cpl. Kirchner, One Man Gang, Scott Steiner, Shawn Stasiak, Ted DiBiase, Ivory, Chris Masters, Elix Skipper, Kamala, Samoa Joe, Giant Bernard, Bill DeMott, Juvi "Juice" Guerrera, Nora "Molly Holly" Greenwald, Nick Dinsmore, Harley Race, Bull Buchanan, D-Lo Brown, Road Warrior Animal, Missing Link, Slick, Nidia, George Steele, Christy Hemme, Disco Inferno, Vito, Steve Blackman, AJ Styles, Chris Daniels, Dennis Stamp, Shawn Daivari, Kevin Sullivan, B.G. James, Ron Killings, Earl and Dave Hebner, Spike Dudley, Rodney Mack, Larry Zybszko, Rick Steiner, and Mae Young.

James Guttman then hypes the legendary (and controversial) guest on ClubWWI.com tomorrow.  It's a shoot that lasted over an hour and will have people talking - guaranteed.  It's one you won't want to miss.  In fact, just keep checking the sites from today on.  Just posted on ClubWWI.com is ZAH's new weekly audio, "The World According to ZAH," and tonight on WorldWrestlingInsanity.com will be real time coverage of TNA Against All Odds as it happens.

With that, James cues up clips from Zach Gowen's interview.  He explains that they're joined in progress.  The first clip follows Zach's story of where the fabricated "Make-a-Wish Foundation" Hulk Hogan story came from.  He tells JG about the first time he really met the Hulkster.  It was in WWE in May 2003.  Guttman is surprised and says he didn't realize that he hadn't met Hulk before that.

"It was kind of funny.  They brought me up to his dressing room.  I'm sitting there, waiting for him to come out of the shower.  He comes out of the shower buck naked.  'Hey there, brother.  I'm Hulk Hogan."  And I'm like wow, you know?  Hulk Hogan naked in front of me the first time I'm meeting him."

James says, "Put that python away, pal."

Gowen laughs and responds, "Exactly."

JG then asks about the famous tale of John "Johnny Ace" Laurinaitis signing the wrong one-legged wrestler to a WWE contract. Ripe for parody, this story is something that JG had wanted to ask Gowen about since it happened. Zach answered:

"I guess the story is that, from what I hear - please don't take this as Gospel because I've never heard from either of these two gentlemen - but, I guess Jim Ross heard about me and told Johnny Ace to sign the one legged wrestler. So Johnny Ace called Steve Keirn, who ran a school down in Florida and Steve Keirn said, "Yeah I've got a one legged wrestler here." So they signed that guy. Steve Chamberland…thinking he was me. I think they signed him when I was actually on TNA on a live pay-per-view. So he goes back to the office and Johnny Ace goes, "Yo. I signed the one legged guy." But I was actually on TV at the time. How he got the wrong one legged guy, I'm not sure because that guy's like 6'3, 275."

As the interview comes to a close, JG lets Zach speak to his "Tenacious fans."  Gowen thanks them all for living his dream with him and encourages them all to check out his Myspace page at Myspace.com/Zachgowen.

After the clips end, James again reminds listeners to check out WorldWrestlingInsanity.com for the announcement of the new LEGENDARY shoot interview guest and all the controversy that's sure to come with it.
